LinkedIn is an amazing platform fot networkers. Most of you you must have heard about LinkedIn, and some of you are even among the 9 Million people registered on this site. But unfortunately, only a few use the real potential of it (from business oppurtunities to job searching).
I believe everyone (who wants to excel in networking) should have an in depth acquintance of this tool. Before going over my tips, I recommend the following readings:
- Guy Kawasaky’s insights on LinkedIn – usage and profile makeover.
- An excellent review and guide for this platform from The Global Human Capital Journal:
- LinkedIn course by Rick Upton
- LinkedIn power forum - (including great flash tours).
To stay updated I really recommend adding to your RSS Reader some (all?) of this LinkedIn dedicated blogs - LinkedIn Intelligence, My LinkedIn Life, LinkedIn User Manual and LinkedIn Notes.
If you’re intrested to know who are the top linked (in) people on LinkedIn you can visit TopLinked.com.
That’s all for now. Follow the links, and next time we will go over the major rules, in order to master this valuable tool.
Best regards,
