What an interesting and impressing point of view.
How does it works?
Which factors are important to find out a value of $564.54 for example?
What I ask myself is if it is really significant!?
I think a blog should be fun or passion eg.

The main reason that I write my blog is because of my passion for my belief that talent isn’t inborn.
But for your question - the factors that make the value of a blog is its content quality and the buzz it makes. This two parameters can be roughly be measured by counting how many links the blog gets from other blogs/web sites.
The site that I link in my blog post makes the calculations by using Technorati’s database.

Just remmber that it’s not scientific and not that accurate. And if you like it, continue writing no matter what
